Backstreet reportedly has its back up over the move too. The Boys left Trans Continental in a lawsuit of their own last year in part because they didn’t want to share a label with competing boppers. Now that ‘N Sync have landed on their block again, Backstreet is said to be mulling their own breach-of-contract suit against Jive. And critics say these bands are derivative.
