While Bethesda has yet to make an official statement regarding any sort of mini-game activities, having a dedicated Fallout 4 achievement/trophy pretty much confirms this one as true. What fans still don’t know is what type of activity this will be, whether players can partake in a batting cage sort of environment, or if there really is a way to participate in a full-fledged baseball game. Either way, fans should remember that this is a Fallout game afterall so some sort of twist on the norm should be expected.

Considering that the setting for Fallout 4 takes place in Boston, Massachusetts, a heavy baseball market, the addition of a baseball themed mini-game isn’t surprising. Eagle-eyed fans even spotted what appeared to be a Fenway Park style building in the initial trailer, which would also make sense as the place where players can play baseball. Promotional materials have also shown off a heavily modified baseball bat melee weapon as well.
As the release date for Fallout 4 grows closer, more and more nuggets of information continue to drop. Bethesda has been very careful to reveal as little as possible about the story since its reveal at E3 2015, but so far, this appears to be the biggest Fallout game to date. Outside of the usual main and side missions, Bethesda has added a number of additional things the player can do including crafting and customizing towns across the map, while the ability to mod will become available sometime in 2016. There appears to be something for everyone to do this time around.
