Fallout 76’s Wastelanders update is now live, and it has brought a myriad of new NPCs, items, and more to Bethesda’s multiplayer RPG. The massive update has also introduced a new Fallout 76 duplication glitch, which players are currently using to procure unlimited ammo, junk, and much more. While this FO76 dupe glitch is likely to be patched in relatively short order, fans are still taking this opportunity to fill up their stashes with Large Gifts, Nuka Cola, and beyond.
Before detailing this Fallout 76 dupe glitch, it is very important to mention that using it could result in a ban at some point in the future. As such, players that are concerned about losing access to their characters are advised to avoid using this duplication glitch in FO76 Wastelanders, and they should instead continue earning Caps, ammunition, and items the old-fashioned way.

Additionally, it is worth noting that this dupe glitch in Fallout 76 Wastelanders cannot be used to replicate weapons, armor, items that do not stack, or an item that a player has less than three of. While these limitations may be slightly disappointing to some fans, there is still plenty for players to duplicate with the assistance of this FO76 glitch.
With all of this said, here is how this Fallout 76 duplication glitch for 2020 works:
First a Fallout 76 player should enter the server to determine exactly where they spawn into their CAMP upon login. They should then enter Workshop mode, go to the Displays tab, select the Display Case, and build it as close to the spawn point as possible. From there, a player should remove what they want to duplicate from their Stash Box, moving it to their inventory, and logout.
Now, the FO76 fan should log back in and perform the following steps as quickly as possible:
Interact with the Display Case Navigate to the item being duped Select Assign for the item (the specific input can be found at the bottom of the UI) Back out of the Display Case Scrap or Store the Display Case through Workshop mode
If done fast enough, a player will see that the item is now doubled within their Stash Box in FO76, and this can be repeated as much as a fan wants. However, considering that the item will be doubled every time this Fallout 76 dupe glitch for 2020 is used, players may want to exercise some restraint unless they wish to end up with millions of a particular item.
