While Fallout 76 is a multiplayer game with the possibility of PvP, that’s not exactly what Bethesda wants to see. Instead, the gaming giant wants to see a unified approach from its players, which is showcased in this latest video. For example, the video talks about how a group of players could potentially be lifelong friends, if they can avoid obvious traps, that is.

In the “Let’s Work with Others” multiplayer video depicted below, we see a group of players and the base-building mechanic mow down monsters. Later, it shows the group falling for a trap that kills every member save one who is lucky enough to loot the bodies. Finally, it shows how in-fighting can tear a successful Vault 76 group apart. Check it out below:

Of course, not everyone is likely to cooperate, and Fallout 76 is likely to have a high number of griefers. Despite the latest PvP reveal and Bethesda’s answers to the expected griefing problem, it’s an unfortunate reality of the gaming industry, as griefers are likely another reason the development team was worried about adding a multiplayer title to the beloved and previously solo play-only franchise.

Nevertheless, the Fallout 76 B.E.T.A. launches in October, and interested players are likely to get a better sense of the multiplayer then. Perhaps the anti-griefing system will be more effective than some think, and players will be able to cooperate in the wasteland. After all, as the video attentively pointed out, “There’s no I in ’nuclear wasteland.'”

Fallout 76 is set to release on November 14, 2018, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
