Fallout 4’s hype train continues dishing out good news, and this time it has a great report for fans who reside in Germany. According to the German site PC Games, Fallout 4 is primed to be completely uncut and uncensored when it’s finally released, meaning that all of its features will be available just as Bethesda had intended them to be. Bethesda announced the first beta for Fallout 76 in late September, but besides knowing the date, fans were left without a start time and specific details. Yesterday, on Twitter, Bethesda revealed that the Fallout beta is available for pre-download and that its first ‘session’ is set for 7 pm ET through 11 pm ET, but only on Xbox One. Similar to how Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 provides new content first to PlayStation users, Bethesda has chosen to release new content to Xbox One users first, meaning PC and PS4 owners will have to wait until October 30th, though the PC and PS4 start times are still unknown....

Originally the company said they hadn’t really planned on doing anything about the situation, then to attempt to ease the concerns of their customers offered all players that purchased the special edition 500 atoms…which could barely get you anything in game. However, Bethesda finally decided to do the right thing and offered customers a chance to trade in their nylon bag for the one advertised originally. All they had to do was go to the website and write up a support ticket....

In a tweet from the official Fallout 76 account on March 10th, 2022, Bethesda revealed that it plans to allow players to play-test three upcoming events including Test Your Metal, Eviction Notice, and Moonshine Jamboree. Fallout 76 appears to take place on or around the tercentenary, the 300th anniversary, of the founding of the United States, hence the 76 imagery. This is what appears to be the “Reclamation Day” for Vault 76 residents. If the music playing in the trailer is any indication, the game may also take place around West Virginia and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Very few details have been officially confirmed, but Bethesda likes to hide details in their teaser trailers....

The trailer takes a bit more of a psychedelic approach in the beginning, as it pans over one of the game’s giant sloth enemies. We then see a girl spinning while firing two submachine guns into a crowd of robots and ghouls. The video shows off a few more scenes, including a more action-packed sequence with members of the Brotherhood of Steel and a vertibird, as well as one of Fallout 76’s swamp environments....

Wastelanders has brought Fallout 76 to the series’ roots by introducing NPCs and a storyline. With these additions, Bethesda has been able to introduce some classic Fallout elements to the latest game’s open world, like dialogue options and factions. Since the update was released, Fallout 76’s negative reviews have been gradually replaced with brighter reviews from fans.
