Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) through its Secretary-General, Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin today confirmed that Kedah will not be the team representing Malaysia in the 2018 AFC Cup despite winning the 2017 FA Cup. In the statement, Datuk Hamidin explained that Kedah failed to submit their financial audit in time to the Club Licensing Administrative System (CLAS) and thus failed the requirement needed to secure an AFC license. However, FAM’s Club Licensing Appeal Board has accepted the late submission of the required document that enables Kedah to participate in the domestic competitions next season as those are still under the purview of FAM>...
