One of the unlockable skins with the Fall Guys space-themed season pass is Spock from the Star Trek series, as well as a “live long and prosper” emote. Now, Fall Guys is expanding its relationship with the sci-fi series by adding even more Star Trek content. This includes new skins, accessories, and even a celebration for match winners. However, Fall Guys has come a long way from where it once was in its development cycle. In a recently posted Twitter thread, Mediatonic’s creative director Jeff Tanton reveals a lot about the game’s development and concept phase, including that it was going to have a completely different name. Thanks to the Xenomorph and Ripley from the Alien franchise, it is clear that Mediatonic is willing to feature properties aimed at a mature audience within Fall Guys. As such, there should be no issue turning figures from darker universes into adorable beans. With some great horror games to choose from, Mediatonic could add content to its store for months, and it could even make an entire Season themed around spooky content....

Bethesda games are well known for being some of the most moddable video games out there. The Creation Engine is particularly built to make the process as open and easy for modders as possible, and there are some incredible things that Fallout 3’s community has made for the game. This includes a number of mods that completely change the game, offering longtime fans ways to experience Fallout 3 from a fresh perspective....

The Fallout 4 developer also posted the collection’s foreword written by lead artist Istvan Pely in whole on its blog, which is sourced at the bottom of the article. In the book’s preamble, Pely touches on the collaborative nature of Bethesda’s small development team, and stresses how important it is for fans to remember that the fully fleshed ideas found in the studio’s games come from individuals’ hard work, as well as the occasionally unforeseen inspiration, saying:...

Gamers who want to deck out their Fallout 4 pup in heavy duty armor won’t need to rely upon mods for this one. Apparently, amongst the various bandanas, goggles, and accessories for Dogmeat, Bethesda included a special suit of doggy armor in the game just for him. Called The Wilderness, this fan-made mod for Fallout 4 was uploaded to Nexus Mods a few weeks ago, and has already been downloaded thousands of times. The modification adds an abandoned town, some lakes, forests, and what the user describes as “a curse that needs to be broken.” This suggests that The Wilderness may have something of an eerie vibe about it. There’s also a 20-minute video showing what the mod looks and plays like....

So when Bethesda announced Fallout 4 a couple months ago, fans were understandably elated by the prospect of once again delving into the post-apocalyptic world. Naturally, gamers were curious to see if their favorite features from past Fallout games would return in Fallout 4, and fortunately, many of the most loved aspects of the series will be making an appearance. Sadly, there is one feature, or rather character, who won’t be reprising his role in Fallout 4: DJ Three Dog....

As seen in the screenshot below, the emote wheel contains a number of emotes that could be beneficial in communicating with other Vault 76 residents. Considering the multiplayer aspects of Fallout 76 are clearly going to be a big deal, it makes sense for the game to include this feature, and hopefully, it will prove useful to the players. The wheel appears to include ways to signal approval or disapproval, follow or run, expression, invites, and more....

Bethesda Games Studio director Todd Howard started out by explaining that Fallout 76 is built around both PvE and PvP. A main goal of the design team was to find a way to include the element of danger that comes along with PvP, without the usual griefing. The approach to achieve that balance is very interesting and unlike the usual solutions. The game will allow players to attack another player when they come across them, but if the defending player doesn’t fight back very little damage will be done....

Season 1’s theme is inspired by classic board games in Fallout’s signature retro-futuristic style, and Bethesda says that players will earn bonuses every 10 ranks, along with a few special ones peppered in “just if we think a number is fun (like rank 76).” Players looking to save time will be able to rank up faster with Atoms with a later update set to launch on July 14. Fallout Worlds will offer a range of new options regarding Fallout 76’s servers, adding additional public servers with new features as well as the ability for players to create customizable private servers. The update will launch during the game’s September update, although players on the Public Test Server can trial the feature starting today. Thankfully for fans, there appear to be good intentions when talking about the support expected following Fallout 76’s release. In an interview with Metro, Bethesda’s VP of Marketing Pete Hines claims support for Fallout 76 will go on ‘forever.’ To further prove his point, examples such as 2015’s Fallout 4 and 2011’s The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim were brought up as proof Bethesda knows what it’s doing. Going back even further, Hines elaborated on the matter by bringing up 2008’s Fallout 3....

According to the Interplay President, the game has been in a playable state for at least a year. Interplay has also been dropping hints in their newsletters to those who are eagerly awaiting the MMO. When asked for details about the MMO, Caen had this to say: Interplay also has plans for a beta test, as most developers of MMO’s do. If all goes according to plan, we’ll get a chance to taste what Interplay is cooking up in a little over a year....

While the Fallout franchise has never shied away from modding and community-driven projects, especially after Bethesda picked it up, none of its innumerable mods are quite as strange at face value as that of Nous Aurons. Penned by developer Hugo Nadeau, this mod was originally launched back in 2017, but its funding has only been greenlit just recently, which is why it’s been making rounds once again as of late....

Eduardo G. Rubio, 26, was apprehended in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on November 12 following an alleged violent assault on the girl, according to WRAL. Rubio and the teen reportedly got into an altercation, with the man allegedly strangling the girl until she fell unconscious and attempting to hit her with a vehicle.
