According to the tweet from Bethesda below, console numbers are trending much farther ahead than that of the figures for Fallout 4’s PC port when the studio’s Creation Kit released on computers earlier this year after the mods beta period ended. Interestingly enough, the introduction of the feature on Xbox One is such a rousing success that Bethesda has even stated it will be implementing fresh elements for developer-supported mods in the near future, but didn’t share additional details....

In a recent interview with IGN following the gameplay reveal of Starfield, Bethesda’s Todd Howard opened up about the studio’s future projects, including the much-awaited Fallout title. It has been nearly six years since the last single-player Fallout came out and roughly four years since Fallout 76. Naturally, fans of the post-apocalyptic RPG series from Bethesda have been yearning for any news about the next Fallout game in the studio’s pipeline....

While playing Fallout 76 during a QuakeCon at Home stream, Associate Community Manager Devann McCarthy was hit by Fallout 76’s fast traveling bug live on stream. The bug essentially has players go through the fast travel process without moving players to the new location, forcing them to repeat the process over again. Fallout 76 was released back in 2018 and was the first time the franchise delved into the world of multiplayer games. More specifically, Fallout 76 will be available on Steam beginning April 7, 2020, just over 16 months after the game’s initial launch. This Steam release date coincides with the launch of the massive Fallout 76 Wastelanders update, which will bring NPCs to the game’s post-apocalyptic West Virginia, and perhaps this confluence of events will be enough to restore interest in this troubled multiplayer title. As seen below in Fallout 76’s “Atomics for Peace!” video, Bethesda stresses that players who work together with fellow survivors will have a much higher chance of survival in the Appalachian Wasteland than those who do not. And as previously mentioned, as one explores the open world, they will come across portions of nuclear launch codes that can then be combined with the pieces that other survivors have found in order to get the full code in a much quicker manner....

With the podunk mountain town of South Park conquered (and the sequel, The Fractured But Whole, being developed by Ubisoft San Francisco instead), Obsidian has been talking about other animated comedies they could give the video game treatment. Specifically, the developers at Obsidian have been discussing the possibility of making an RPG about everyone’s favorite animated spy, Sterling Archer, in an Archer video game. Speaking in an interview with PC Gamer during PAX Prime, project director for Obsidian, Josh Sawyer, explained that the Archer video game they had in mind would be similar to a previous Obsidian RPG, Alpha Protocol....

Reddit user MasterBuilderKTC recently shared several images of their working Vault 111 alongside a video showing the vault opening as it does in the beginning moments of Fallout 4. While the images highlight the Vault-Tec invention from multiple angles and give more details, the video shows how the LEGO vault door falls back before sliding to the side for viewers to look into the Vault. The attention to detail on the Vault goes beyond simply replicating the function and color scheme, as there’s also an LED inside to mimic the flashing lights that activate when a Fallout player escapes the Vault....

“Don’t pretend that we don’t exist, that we aren’t seeking accountability,” Zhang Hai, whose father died of COVID-19 in February told the Associated Press. Zhang, a native of Wuhan who is currently living in Shenzhen, told the AP that he has been assembling relatives of those who died from COVID-19 in an effort to demand accountability from Chinese officials. While speaking with the AP, Zhang said that chat groups between these relatives of COVID-19 victims were shut down after the expert team of WHO researchers arrived in Wuhan and accused the city’s government of trying to silence these families....

Fans are in an uproar about not being able to play. In fact, Fall Guys has been review bombed by those who are unable to log in and play. It is certainly unfortunate to not be able to play a title that one was excited to enjoy, but perhaps reviewing a game poorly without yet being able to play it is a bit harsh. Regardless, fans are eagerly anticipating an update from the devs on when they can play....

While there’s been no word on a follow-up, fans are still hoping for a Fallout: New Vegas 2, and the director of the 2010 installment has said the studio would be interested in returning to the franchise. The leader of the Fallout 3 mod team, JuiceHead, provided all the reasons for the cancellation of the Capital Wasteland mod on Twitter. JuiceHead explained that after recent announcements that voice acting and audio would be implemented into the mod, some problems came up.
