Today, Bethesda released a video detailing the all-new Big Leagues perk, which will allow gamers to do massive damage with two handed blunt instruments, gain a chance to cripple their opponent with hits, and deliver an infamous ‘grand slam’. We initially speculated that the Fallout 4 achievement entitled ‘Homerun!’ may be related to a baseball mini-game, but the newly-released perk video seems to imply a homerun might mean decapitating a wastelander using a blunt object like, say, a baseball bat....

Technically speaking, though, it wasn’t the actual in-game character that won the trophy, but it was Dogmeat’s real life inspiration, River, which is the pet of a Bethesda lead level designer, Joel Burgess, that received the honor. Of course, there was stiff competition hounding the German Shepherd for the award, as the popular Fallout 4 pooch was up against Metal Gear Solid 5’s D-Dog, as well as Chop from Grand Theft Auto 5....

This much was divulged during Noclip’s documentary on the making of Fallout 76, which can be found below. In a nearly 6-minute video, Mediatonic level designer Joseph Juson reveals a variety of upcoming content for Fall Guys Season 3. The focus of the initial part of the video is on new obstacles added in Season 3. The list includes flippers, which are found on the ground and do as their name implies. Over on Nexus Mods, as seen by PCGamesN, a number of modders have created a resource that other players can use to turn Fallout: New Vegas into something much creepier. Specifically, the tool allows fans to make their own The Backrooms experience, with the mod featuring the signature yellow wall, ceiling, and floor tiles that many will recognize from the horror game based on the creepypasta. Whether the modders will implement additional assets, such as monsters, remains to be seen....

November isn’t a long ways off (it’s a measly four months away), but it’s long enough for people to consider going back to play Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas in an attempt to hold themselves over until Fallout 4. With this being the case, in addition to Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition having the fully updated base game, all six expansion packs put out after the title’s original release date will be included in the package as well. Incidentally, Fallout 4’s developer Bethesda eventually came across NoohjXLVII’s testimonial about his father and brother on Reddit, and the company decided to create an Easter egg in the game to honor the kind, loving, and optimistic spirit of Evan. In order to do so, the action-RPG’s creators gave NoohjXLVII’s brother his own home within the title’s latest expansion, Nuka-World. As seen in the video from the YouTuber known as “Father” below, Fallout 4 players can visit Evan at his humble trailer abode in the southern-most area of Nuka-World’s map, and even have a tender, soft-spoken conversation with him....
